Our original position detection system allows accurate drilling with three-dimensional movement while avoiding obstacles underground. Allows ground improvement immediately below existing operating structures.
Features
- The technique enables ground improvement immediately below existing structures, something impossible with conventional methods.
- Soil improvement and the installation of drain members or special pipes immediately below an existing facility can be executed from a distant ground surface, without having to stop facility operations.
- A hole can be drilled freely and accurately, avoiding obstacles underground.
- A hole is accurately drilled to a targeted position at a distance. The technique works well on long tie rods.
- The longest distance of a hole drilled to date is 200 m and the total drilling distance has reached 50,000 m (as of April 2014).
- Chemical grouting using CurveX is also available.
