1. Collection and Usage of Personal Information

Collection of personal information by our company is made by using a legitimate and fair method, and by clarifying the purpose of use. We collect personal information within the scope required for accomplishing the given purpose of use. In addition, personal information is used within a scope that does not deviate from such stated purpose of use. Purpose of use of personal information are as listed in Article 2. (Purpose of Use of Personal Information).

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

We will use the personal information obtained by our company only within the scope necessary for the execution of our business operations, in accordance with the business purposes specified in our articles of incorporation.
Specific purposes of using personal information are as follows. Provided, however, that in the event of use for any purpose other than the following, we will notify or publicly announce the purpose of utilization on a case-by-case basis (except in the event that the purpose of utilization is found to be clear in light of the situation of acquisition or in other cases where it is not necessary to notify or publicly announce the purpose of utilization pursuant to the Act).

  1. For the purpose of conducting sales activities and contracts with customers (including prospective customers) and performing related and incidental services (including after-sales services)
  2. For the purpose of placing orders for construction subcontracting, procuring materials and equipment, placing orders with subcontractors for the provision of services and other purposes, and performing related and incidental services
  3. For the purpose of submitting various applications and reports to government agencies and public service organizations, and performing other business activities required for us to conduct business activities.
  4. For the purpose of carrying out public relations activities outside the Company and within the Company as well as related and incidental business activities

  6. For the purpose of executing the records of the objects or matters for which we have performed our business, such as construction, design, and sales properties, and any works incidental or related thereto

  9. The personal information obtained by us shall be used only to the extent necessary for the performance of its business in light of the business purpose set forth in the Articles of Incorporation of the Company.
  10. For the purpose of administrative processing and welfare of social insurance affairs related to the families of our officers, employees, advisors, etc.
  11. For the purpose of conducting business related to marketing activities such as investigating and analyzing marketing data and considering and implementing marketing measures

3. Provision of personal information to a third party

(1) We manage personal information strictly and will not disclose or provide it to third parties, except in the following cases: 
 ① when we have obtained prior consent from the customer, 
 ② the handling of personal information is outsourced in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law; 
 ③ when required by law,
 ④ it is necessary for the protection of persons' life, body and property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer; 
 ⑤ when it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of sound development of children,and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer; 
 ⑥ when it is necessary to cooperate with national agencies, local public entities, or parties entrusted by them in the execution of duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer's consent may hinder the execution of those duties, 
 ⑦ it is recognized by other laws and regulations.

⑵ Notwithstanding the foregoing (1), Company may provide information that has been processed so that it cannot identify a specific individual to advertising distribution businesses that cooperate with us for the purpose of delivering advertisements tailored to the interests and concerns of customers, confirming the results, and providing services, which may involve providing personal information handled by our company to third parties.

4. Ongoing Improvements to Systems and Mechanisms for Management of Personal Information Protection

We implement ongoing improvements of systems and mechanisms for the management of personal information protection.

5. Security Management Measures

We take the necessary and appropriate security management measures for the personal information we hold as follows:
(Preparation of the Basic Policy)
We have prepared the basic policy to ensure the proper handling of personal data.


(Development of Disciplines for the Handling of Personal Data)
We will establish basic handling methods regarding the management of personal data and the duties of the responsible person.


(Organizational Security Management Measures)
We appoint a person responsible for handling personal data, and the responsible person shall confirm that personal data is handled in accordance with the basic handling method.
In preparation for incidents such as personal data leakage, we develop the system of reporting to the responsible person in advance.
The person in charge shall periodically inspect the situation of handling personal data.


(Personnel Security Management Measures)
We regulary provide training to employees regarding important considertions for the handling of personal data.
Matters related to the confidentiality of personal data will be included in the employment regulations and other relevant documents.


(Physical Security Management Measures)
We implement measures to ensure that only authorized employees and the individuals themselves can easily access personal data.
Personal data will be stored in an environment that allows for the locking of devices that handle personal data, as well as electronic media or documents that contain recorded personal data. When transporting electronic media containing personal data or documents with personal data, passwords will be set to prevent loss or theft.
The responsible person shall confirm that the personal data has been deleted or that the equipment or electronic media containing the personal data has been disposed of.

 

(Technical Security Management Measures)
We define the devices that can handle personal data and the employees who operate these devices to prevent unnecessary access to personal data.
We also identify and authenticate the employee who uses the information system handling the personal information database.
We will keep the operating systems of devices handling personal data up to date and implement security software, utilizing features such as automatic updates to maintain the latest version.
We will set password to the files containing personal data when the files are send via email or other means.

6. Request for Disclosure

We will respond to requests for disclosure and related actions (i.e., notification of the purpose of use, disclosure of personal information or records provided to a third party, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to a third party) as outlined below.
(1) Notification of the purpose of use, Disclosure of Personal Information or Record of Provision to a Third Party
The Customer may request us to notify them of the purpose of use or to disclose personal information or records provided to a third party, to the extent permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law, by following the procedures set forth in section (4) below. However, we may withhold disclosure if any of the following conditions apply:
 ①Cases where disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual concerned or a third party.
 ②Cases where disclosure is likely to seriously interfere with the proper execution of our business.
 ③Cases where disclosure would violate laws and regulations.
 ④Cases where the request for disclosure cannot be confirmed to have been made by the Customer.
 Additionally, when requesting disclosure of the purpose of use or personal information or the record of provision to a third party, we shall charge a disclosure fee as set forth in section (4) below.


(2) Correction, Addition, or Deletion
We may request corrections, additions, or deletions of personal information by following the procedures in section (4)  below. In such cases, we will promptly conduct an investigation to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of utilization, and based on the results, we will correct, add, or delete the personal information as permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law.


(3) Suspension of Use or Provision to a Third Party
The Customer may request the suspension of the use of personal information or the discontinuation of its provision to a third party by following the procedures in section (4) below. In such cases, we will take appropriate measures in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law.


(4) Procedures
When requesting disclosure, please contact the "Inquiries about Personal Information" section in this policy. Note, however, that a fee of 1,000 yen will be charged to the customer for each request, even in cases of non-disclosure or non-notification of the purpose of use .

7. Provision of Personal Information

When you contact us, we may request you to provide your personal information to the extent necessary and appropriate. In such cases, whether or not you provide personal information to us will be determined by your own decision. Please note that we may not be able to respond to certain inquiries if personal information is not provided.

8. Shared Use of Personal Information

We may share personal information acquired by us and our group companies with those listed in "2. Scope of Co-Users" below.
1. Items that may be shared
 ① Information regarding identity
      Name, address, postal code, gender, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, account ID and password, SNS account information, information on official certificates such as driver's licenses and residence certificates, etc. 
 ② Information on transactions 
      Information on transaction details and purchase history, etc. 
 ③ Information on financial matters
      Information on financial institution accounts, approvals, and methods thereof, etc. 
 ④ Information obtained when using the service
      Online identifiers such as cookie ID, device information, location information, browsing history, and other service usage information (including access logs, IP addresses, browser information, and browser language settings), etc.

       Information on inquiries and communications from customers to us, etc.

In the event when we receives a request from the customer for notification, disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, or discontinuation of provision of personal information managed by us to a third party, we shall promptly respond to such requests in accordance with Article 6. of this Policy.
