Foundation Building Construction at Yodo Dam

Before the commencement of construction, it was confirmed that a high-permeability zone with a Lugeon value of over 100 existed extensively in the deep riverbed area of the dam site. Continuing with the construction under these conditions would not only significantly impact the surrounding environment but also make proper execution difficult.

Therefore, prior to the curtain grouting, we performed the installation of stopper grout on the downstream side of the curtain grouting within the area surrounding the high-permeability zone.
