Disaster Restoration Work at an Art Gallery

The city's art museum, which is also a landmark in Christchurch, experienced differential settlement due to liquefaction caused by the earthquake in 2011. Subsequently, the preservation of the building was approved by the council, and restoration and liquefaction countermeasures were carried out by constructing shear-restraining piles using jet grouting method.
