			<p>The city's art gallery, which is also a landmark in Christchurch, experienced differential settlement due to liquefaction caused by the earthquake in 2011. Subsequently, the preservation of the building was approved by the council, thus&nbsp;restoration and liquefaction&nbsp;countermeasures were carried out by constructing shear-restraining piles using jet grouting method.</p>
